Homeschool Classes
Energize your homeschooling journey with the YMCA of the Roses’ dedicated gym class and swim programs. Our classes are designed to accommodate homeschool families during the day. So, join us to experience a supportive and dynamic environment that enriches the homeschooling experience, promoting health, wellness, and a sense of community within the YMCA family. Monthly registration is required.
Homeschool Gym and Swim
Join Us Fridays from 12pm-1pm!
The first 3 Fridays will be in the gym and focus on different sports, games, and other physical activities led by a qualified instructor. Some of the choices offered, but not limited to, are basketball, soccer, gaga ball, and dodgeball.
The last Friday of the month will be a pool day and focus on games in the water! Accessible to swimmers and non-swimmers that are able to stand in 4ft of water.

Swim Advanced
Join us at designated branches for homeschool gym and swim classes. Currently offered at the W. Dale Brougher Foundation (Shrewsbury) and York Branches. Registration is required monthly! Sibling Discount: First two children are normal rates, any sibling after will be half price.
The YMCA is offering an opportunity for home school students to participate in a swim class
to earn physical education credits. This program is for home school students who have
knowledge of freestyle and backstroke, ages 6–18. We teach swimmers from beginner to advanced. The instructor is not in the water for these classes.

Swim Beginner
