A YMCA membership is a great value that includes many benefits, like:

Free group exercise classes – A YMCA membership gives you access to FREE group exercise classes. From yoga, Pilates, Les Mills classes, cycling, Zumba, cardio, toning, core, step, sculpt, and many more, you can find the perfect class at the Y whenever and wherever works for you!

Free health and wellness orientation – After you sign up, you can meet with one of our trainers to discuss your health and wellness goals and receive recommendations on work out strategies, an introduction to our fitness equipment, and answers to any questions you have about the Y, your membership or fitness for FREE.

Free Child Watch during your workout – We’ll watch the kids while you work out (available at most of our Ys)! Contact your local branch for specific hours.

Workout equipment – We have free weights, strength-training machines, cardio equipment, exercise bands, and more for you to use to meet your wellness goals!

Amazing facilities – As a member, you’ll have access to pools, basketball courts, pickleball courts, indoor running/walking tracks, pools, and other great amenities.

Personal training – Members receive discounts on personal training from our certified staff so they can help you meet your unique goals, whether you’re looking to increase your overall fitness or win athletic events!

Discounts on YMCA programs – The YMCA has diverse programs for youth, adults, families, and seniors, including swim lessons for all ages, youth/adult sports, camp, esports, and more! YMCA members receive discounts on fee-based programs!

Financial assistance opportunities – We make sure that no one is turned away from the YMCA due to an inability to pay through our “Membership for All” program, which provides financial assistance to families at certain income levels. Contact your local branch or click here to learn more!

Access to local and regional YMCA facilities – Your membership gives you access to, not just your local branches, but YMCAs around the country! Traveling to NJ and want to get a workout in? No problem! Just let a nearby branch know you’re a member of the YMCA of the Roses and have at it! Contact any non-YMCA of the Roses branches first to confirm they’re part of the network.

Virtual Wellness Services – YMCA members get FREE access to our virtual wellness program, YWellness 24/7. Go to https://ywellness247.org/ to learn more and sign up!

Outdoor Pool Memberships are not included in your YMCA Membership, however, Y members receive a discount for outdoor pool memberships. Click here to sign up for an outdoor pool membership!

Inclement Weather Pool Policy

Lifeguards are trained to judge this and have the final say on all closures at our pools.

Winter Weather Policy

While every effort is made to help ensure our branches maintain their regular schedules, if weather or road conditions are poor, we may adjust our hours of operation to ensure your safety and that of our staff. The best way to get the latest on any changes to operating hours is to call your local Y, look in your inbox, or check the branch’s Facebook page.

You may choose to pay your monthly membership fees through our easy monthly payment service. Your fees will be drafted from your checking account, savings account, or credit card on a continuous monthly basis. You may also choose to pay a year’s fee at once using a credit card, cash or check. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel a membership at any time.

Your membership will be drafted from your bank account or credit card on the 1st of the month. Annual options are available. See your branch for details. It is important for you to check your statements regularly. If you notice a discrepancy in your bank draft, please notify us promptly. Refunds are not issued for discrepancies longer than 90 days.

Yes! Your membership gives you access to all 5 of our branches in York and Lancaster Counties in addition to branches around the country in the Nationwide Membership program.

When going to a non-YMCA of the Roses branch, call ahead to make sure they participate in the program!

We have trained staff available at all times to answer any questions or provide assistance with any equipment. Members can also schedule time with our trainers for more in-depth assistance!

We have child and youth development programs for kiddos of all ages, ranging from sports to STEM to mentoring!

We also can watch your children while you work out with our Child Watch program!

A 30-day written notice using our approved form for all cancellations is required.  You may either stop in at your local branch or contact your local branch.  All forms that are filled out through email are not finalized until you receive written confirmation from the membership director.
