Outdoor Pool Rules:
-All children with a red band must have a parent within arm’s reach while in the pool area.
-Only US Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices may be used in the pool; NO inflatables or floaties. Noodles are allowed.
-All youth ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an Adult (age 18+) during facility usage & must have a swim band. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
-The YMCA of the Roses is an alcohol, tobacco/vaping-free for all employees, members, vendors and -visitors. Violations will be documented and subject to disciplinary actions.
-No glass containers
-Swimsuits are mandatory
-NO cut-offs, regular shorts or basketball shorts
-NO sports bras, t-shirts or muscle shirts
-All swimsuits MUST have a lining
-NO socks in the pool
-Members/Guests must abide by the YMCA Code of Conduct along with rules already posted.
-All members and guests 18 & older must present a valid photo ID upon initial registration.
-YMCA Membership must be in good standing the entire pool season if paying the member rate. If membership is canceled prior to the last day of season, prorated nonmember rates will apply to remaining time.
Thunderstorm and Lightning Policy
Pools will be closed by the Lifeguards at the first sight or sound of lightning or thunder. This includes the areas inside the fence and the pool deck on the indoor pool.
The pool’s closure is for the safety of members and staff and is done with enough time for members, guests, and staff to go to a safe place.
Pool will remain closed until:
A: 30 minutes after the last sight or sound of thunder/lightning, and it is safe to reopen
B: Closed for the day:
If forecasts indicate little chance of reopening or if storms continue past 5pm.
Failure to leave the pool area as instructed by Lifeguards can result in loss of membership or being banned from the pool. When the Lifeguard clears the pool for weather, you may wait in your vehicle or at home to wait out the storm.

- All members and guests 18 & older must present a valid photo ID upon initial registration.
- On days with excessive heat, Pool Membership holders will be given priority to access our facility.

The Leola Community Pool Membership is good for the Outdoor Pool Season of 2026.
It is separate from any other Memberships or Programs with the YMCA of the Roses.
