The last Friday of the month will be a pool day and focus on games in the water! Accessible to swimmers and non-swimmers that are able to stand in 4ft of water.

Join us for our 8-week Homeschool Music and Arts Program! This program gives homeschool students the opportunity to explore creativity through both music and visual arts. The first 4 weeks will focus on music, where participants will learn basic music concepts, rhythm, movement, and creative expression. The final 4 weeks will focus on art, giving students the chance to explore different projects, materials, and hands-on activities. This program is designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and fun in a welcoming YMCA environment.

Class will be held in the Warm Water Pool when staffing allows. When the Warm Water Pool is not available it will be in he Natatorium Pool. This class is designed to allow the kids to have fun in the pool in a safe and exciting way. Each participant will be swim tested prior to the start of the first class. If you child can’t swim they will be required to wear a lifejacket.

Join us at designated branches for homeschool gym and swim classes. Currently offered at the W. Dale Brougher Foundation (Shrewsbury) and York Branches. Registration is required monthly! Sibling Discount: First two children are normal rates, any sibling after will be half price.

The YMCA is offering an opportunity for home school students to participate in a swim class
to earn physical education credits. This program is for home school students who have
knowledge of freestyle and backstroke, ages 6–18. We teach swimmers from beginner to advanced. The instructor is not in the water for these classes.
