Join us for our introduction level course on Pickleball. Our skilled instructors will teach you all about the court, the rules, scoring, and everything else you need to know to get started on your path to being a pro pickleball player (or just a casual homer). Classes are Tuesdays from 11:00 a – 12:00 p in the LS YMCA gym.

Our Beginner Pickleball Clinic is an introductory level course on Pickleball. The class is appropriate for true beginners (newbies) to the game as well as those that are playing casually but who NEVER received formal beginner training. Our skilled instructors (IPTPA certified) will teach you all about the fundamentals of the game, the history, strokes, rules, paddle, grip, scoring, etiquette, overall strategy of the game, proper warm up and safety to get you started on your path to being a professional pickleball player or just a casual social player.

Now that you have mastered the easy stuff its time to up your game. Our experienced instructors will help you work through new drills to bring your game up to a new level. They will also help teach you tactics and strategy to really elevate your game.

Curriculum

Prerequisite: Pickleball Beginner Clinic or a minimum of 6 months of playing experience.

Elevate your Pickleball game with our Intermediate 1 Skills & Drills Clinic.  Expand your understanding of the game with on court competitive play as well as comprehensive Drills to improve and elevate your game to the next level.  The Skills enhanced from our a Certified Pickleball Trainer include but are not limited to: Dinking, third shot drops, serves, service returns, volleys, foot work, groundstrokes, blocking the ball from a banger, positioning on the court, safety, shot selection, building doubles partnerships and strategies are all covered throughout the 6-week class.  Join us for an engaging session that combines technical precision with the joy of playing and take your Pickleball journey to new heights.  The class is limited to a maximum of 8  to ensure each student receives extensive one-on-one instruction.

This is an open league, we are not asking for your rating. This does mean that the skill of our players may vary widely. The purpose of the league is for fun, and getting players to play. 

Join us for a 6 team, 8 week mixed doubles, 18+ round robin pickleball league. You will play every team once a week to determine an overall record (5 games a week). After 7 weeks of play, the final week will be a tournament with the best team (record wise) will play the worst team (record wise), etc. Games will run from 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm on Wednesdays.

Any Nonmember registered for the league will also receive access to our Open Pickleball Monday-Friday from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
