Parent & Child Swim Lessons
Swim lessons to get children 6 months-3 years old comfortable in the water. There must be at least one parent in the water with the child for the swim lesson.

Illness Policy: Children may not attend lessons if they exhibit any of the following:
– Temperature of 100 degrees of higher. Student needs to be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to the Y.
– Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours before lessons.
Parent/Child Water Discovery & Exploration
In Water Discovery & Exploration, infants and toddlers are introduced to the aquatics environment.
Water Exploration focuses on learning body positions, blowing bubbles, and practicing fundamental safety and aquatic skills.
Accompanied by a parent or guardian, infants and toddlers 6 months to 3 years old learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences, while parents and guardians learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision.
Our refund policy allows for a full refund prior to the start of the class and a 75% refund after the first class. After the start of the second class, no refund will be given.

Water Discovery/Water Exploration
Water Discovery (ages 6 – 18 months)
Parents accompany children in the water in this stage, which introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration and encourages them to enjoy themselves while learning about the water.
Water Exploration (ages 18 – 36 months)
Parents work with their children in the water to explore body positions, floating, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatic skills.
Our refund policy allows for a full refund prior to the start of the class and a 75% refund after the first class. After the start of the second class no refund will be given.
Make-ups will only be given for classes missed due to holidays and if the Y has to cancel a class. Make-ups must be done during the session the participant is currently registered for. Classes missed due to inclement weather will not be made up or given a credit.
