The YMCA of the Roses is proud to offer American Red Cross CPR training designed to equip our community with the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency. Whether you’re a community member looking to be prepared or a professional seeking certification, we have a course to meet your needs.
City, Community CPR (Adult, Pediatric, & Childcare Providers)
Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Course
Learn to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This course teaches essential skills to provide immediate care in critical situations and determine when advanced medical help is needed.
Blended Learning Format
Includes online learning and an instructor-led skills session. Access to the online portion will be emailed after registration—please double-check your email and phone number during sign-up.

The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO) program trains professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Includes First Aid certification.
This course meets the YMCA of the Roses staff requirements and is open to the public for those requiring training in a team response.

Graham Aquatic Center: CPR for Professional Rescuers & O2
This course meets the requirements of YMCA of the Roses staff and is open to the public for those requiring training in a team response.
American Red Cross blended learning class to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Includes First Aid and Oxygen.
This class is NOT suitable for PA childcare licensing.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT YOUR CLASS:
- Blended learning means you will do some work at home prior to your in-person training.
ONLINE PORTION MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE IN-PERSON CLASS.
You are required to provide a unique personal email address to receive the hyperlink to complete the online portion of your class and to obtain your digital certificate. The hyperlink will be sent to you by email from the Sales Force Automation Account at the American Red Cross, and you must complete this portion prior to the start of your class. Please allow 2.5 to 4 hours to complete the online training. Please bring a copy of your online completion certificate to the class (digital or paper).
Dress comfortably and bring a towel to kneel on as skills are performed on the floor. Please notify the instructor or training coordinator (Ashley Chapman: [email protected]) if an adaptation is required.

This course meets the requirements of YMCA of the Roses staff and is open to the public for those requiring training in a team response.
American Red Cross blended learning class to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Includes First Aid.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT YOUR CLASS:

- NEW FORMAT for in-person classes: the classes scheduled on weekdays will run 2 evenings – attendance at BOTH evenings is required.
ONLINE PORTION MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE IN-PERSON CLASS.
