The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training r.25 course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety and emergency response. It helps participants develop leadership skills and build their babysitting business safely. Participants also learn about basic child care and basic first aid. It helps youth develop leadership and business skills they can apply to many areas of their lives.

Students will get a Babysitter’s Training E-book, ARC Child Care App with step-by-step instructions to handle common emergencies, videos and quizzes from the course and record keeping for their babysitting business.  They also get the ARC First Aid App, a First Aid Kit and a backpack as well as their ARC Certificate good for 10 years!
