Rock Steady Boxing
Rock Steady Boxing, a nationally acclaimed program, provides hope and empowers men and women living with Parkinson’s disease to be more independent and improve their quality of life.
Program Description:
- Evidence-based program
- Supportive environment
- Led by certified Personal Trainers and Rock Steady Boxing coaches
- Three 90-minute classes per week
- Non-contact boxing drills
- Conditioning exercises for optimal muscular endurance, agility, hand-eye coordination and overall strength
- Emphasis on gross motor movement, balance, core strength, posture and gait
- Intake and regular assessments of physical and cognitive ability

Level 1 & 2
Recommended for boxers who are showing symptoms but are still active and can endure higher intensity workouts with some floor work. Class is a faster pace with more complex boxing circuits.
Placement will be determined after assessment by the coaches.
Level 3 & 4
Recommended for new boxers, those returning after an extended break from boxing and boxers who would benefit from modifications and one-on-one work with a coach.
Placement will be determined after assessment by the coaches.
Note: Boxers of all levels will come together on Wednesdays 12:30 – 2:00p
