Welcome to our JrNBA League! Our JrNBA basketball leagues provide the opportunity for friendly competition, while incorporating skill building and good sportsmanship. Each participant receives a reversible 76ers jersey. The season consists of 8-weeks with 1 practice during the weekdays and 1 game on Saturdays. Kids in youth basketball will learn and practice the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, and footwork skills over a 10-week period. They will also learn concepts of offense, defense, cooperation, and teamwork as a member on a team.

Teams may travel to other Y locations for games.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for our Jr. NBA program. Without volunteer coaches, our program would not be able to run.

Our basketball program is an official league of the Jr. NBA! All participants will receive a reversible 76ers jersey to wear on gamedays. We will also open our Jr. NBA store for participants and coaches to order their own Jr. NBA swag!

Our coaching positions are strictly volunteer based, but you could qualify for future basketball discounts if you coach the entirety of the season. All volunteers are required to complete our Volunteer Matters sign-up which will be located in the registration email once you are signed up. We will be designating practice times based on your availability and the availability of the gym. Please keep in mind that we are a multi-use facility, and we share the gym with group exercise classes and other members. We cannot guarantee your requested day/time, but we will do our best to accommodate coaches and their specific age-group.

Mr. Buckets Shooting Clinic at the LS YMCA

Grades 3–5 & Grades 6–8

Join us for a 3-week shooting clinic led by Mr. Buckets at the LS YMCA, designed to elevate your game and sharpen your shot. Each one-hour session is packed with focused instruction to help players develop strong fundamentals and confidence from the ground up.

Athletes will work on proper shooting form, footwork, catch-and-shoot techniques, and how to read screens to get open. Through high-energy drills and skill-building reps, players will gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to become a consistent and effective shooter.

Whether your athlete is looking to build a solid foundation or take their shooting to the next level, this clinic provides a structured and motivating environment to grow their skills. Each session will challenge participants, push them to improve, and give them tools they can use beyond the gym.
